For those who do not wish to use a freewheel (regenerative braking maybe?) here is a 1/4” thick aluminum adapter that allows you to mount a whole range of inexpensive, go-kart style split sprockets (from 53 to 85 teeth) directly to a bicycle disc brake hub. Comes with six M5×16 Allen head screws with washers for mounting to hub.
